Essential
- Understanding of and commitment to ethos of Catholic Education.
- Understanding of contemporary learning and teaching principles and practice.
- Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school or willingness to undertake the necessary professional learning to achieve accreditation.
- Willingness to support and undertake formation In the Ignatian ethos of the college.
- Well developed understanding of Key Learning Area concepts and content.
- An energetic and creative attitude to working collegially in an environment that values continuous improvement.
- The ability to provide a learning environment that engages and challenges students and encourages them to take responsibility for their own learning.
- The ability to establish and maintain clear and consistent expectations for students as learners and for their behaviour in the classroom.
- Understanding and commitment to the ideal of teaching the whole person.
